Maria Roumpani is a Consultant in the Strategen Consulting practice. Prior to joining Strategen, Maria worked as a research assistant for Precourt Institute for Energy at Stanford University performing research on projects spanning from electricity market economics, transportation, international trade, and climate change policy to long-term energy investment issues. Her work has been interdisciplinary combining scientific, engineering, and economic concepts using optimization tools to derive insights and inform decision making. She started her career as a researcher in E3M-Lab at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, contributing to the development of analytical tools used in EU energy policy studies.
Maria holds a MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA and has defended her doctoral thesis in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University.
